3 Days 2 Nights Genting Dream Cruise June 2018 (Day 2 & 3)

We woke up at around 7.30am to have breakfast @ the 7th floor Dream Dining Room. Since it's a Chinese restaurant, you will only get to dine-in with the Chinese. Other races will most likely to proceed to the 16th floor again for their international breakfast buffet. Though the restaurant is much smaller than Lido, it still has a wide spread of varieties. Eggs(hard boiled, soft boiled, omelette, sunny side up,etc), coffee and tea can be ordered from the crew separately.

Egg, Tea & Coffee Menu. Some beverage you will have to pay for it.
Different choices of Bread
Jams, dried fruits & canned fruits
Cereal, oats & Toppings
You can order this from one of the station. Chef will prepare for you on the spot
All-time favorite. A must before every meal
I had 3 bowls of this. Plain porridge with preserved olive vegetable
Shannen's omelette
My main course. The restaurant also have dim sum self service station. Didn't take any. Too full

We head back up to our cabin for a break before going for a swim. The kids kinda hesitate at first cos there were too many ppl. Mostly tourists could be seen at the pools cos the local passengers were in the casinos for the games. Brought them to the slid for 2 rounds before the crew banned Shandy to slid down cos he said Shandy was too short. We then proceed to the baby pools for some splashing and water battle. It was really tiring but the kids had fun.

After shower, we went to Lido for lunch. As we were kinda late(arrived at 1pm) due to the swim, the whole restaurant was flooding with many many people. We had to standby at the almost finished table to "chop" seat. While waiting for a 6 people table, a girl tried her luck to stand near the table which I had been there for 5 mins. I asked the family(local) politely whether could we take over their table after they had finished, the "daddy" replied Yes. The I turned to that girl and told her I was there first. She asked "how many people you have?" I told her "8" straight and she moved to another table. You can imagined how packed it was. We had some nice food but chocolate ice-cream were all gone.

The curry noodle was very good. Thick gravy. Not very spicy

 Suspicious person. It's Shandy!

Kids wanted to go back for a swim after lunch but we were too tired. Decided to take a nap so that they can play until late night. We had our dinner at Dream Dining again but this time on the 8th floor. It's a ala carte Chinese restaurant. where they serve you all the dishes for 4-6pax. You can re-order the particular dish which you like again for free. Just make sure that you can finish them, better don't waste food, right.....

While waiting..... Shannen loves to tease her grandpa.

Quite decent dishes. I dun like the claypot sea cucumber. Taste kinda weird.

Sarah loved it. She had the whole bowl of rice to herself.

Since there's still a bit of time before the show, we went to the Zouk outdoor pool for the Dracula dancing session. When it's time, we proceed to the theater for the acrobat show. Base on first come first serve basis,it's better to be there earlier. We were 30mins earlier and gotten ourselves very good seat. A row just behind the VIPs (Palace Suite) passenger, we were in the middle of the theater which has good views. We enjoyed the who a lot.

2 Main leads coming out to take pictures with the audiences
Show name : The Voyager of A Lover's Dream

We didn't go for supper cos dinner was way to much for us to digest. We finished up the tibits which we brought to the cruise. Mum & I went to the cashier counter to make payments for the taxes, room service charges and purchase and collected our passports. By doing this, we won't have to waste time on the last day for the check out arrangement.
My kinda tibits

We woke up around the usual time to have our breakfast at the same Chinese restaurant. Love that place cos it's not that crowded. Nothing much to do after breakfast cos it's check out day. Went back to the cabin for R&R. Kids were playing with their gadgets while me & Ting watch a horror movie via cable TV. Forgot to tell you.... Dream Cruise has got a very wide selection of Cable channels. Unlike Star Germini whereby we need to download movies and cartoons to entertain the kids. Dream Cruise cable TV has so many channels. Won't be bored if you wanna stay indoor and watch some show. Bro does that all the time whenever he is on board. The only time he get out is to EAT. While people are busying waiting to alight, I took a nap and we left the ship at around 12.30pm. We took our time, walking in the quiet ship. All to ourselves. Embankment was a breeze for those who hold a Singapore passport. Special exit row for us. We look forward for our next boarding again in December 2018 with the same team, except Ting will be replaced by hubby.

Must do things :

1) Checkout a day earlier if you are very sure that you won't be charging any amount to the cabin cards. This will save you time and you won't have to hurry for the next day embarkment.

2) Collect the passport at the collection counter after you have done the necessary at the cashier counter

3) Pack your luggage on the 2nd night. Finished up all tibits so that you won't have to bring anything back.
